Project Areas

For over 20 years PRWF has focused its conservation efforts in a relatively small area in coastal Washington County.

PRWF purchased properties that have important habitat for waterfowl, shorebirds and woodcock. The aim was to create large contiguous tracts to provide the habitat continuity and diversity essential to long term species viability.

To do this PRWF has had to reassemble properties that had been subdivided, often with the hope of residential development.
